Below a certain size, one cannot make a display "HD", or at least it is ineffective.

This is the only one I know of (although it's only 1/4 SD resolution). It's funny that a cheap house brand makes one when the high tech companies like Sony, and Panasonic don't.

They are, for now, mostly a home-theater specialty item. By mid/late next year, they should become a commodity CE item. That is for a basic set-top tuner.

As for a portable HD-TV, they can only make display elements so small, and keep within the cost expectations of a portable TV.
