anyone happen to know what the function of the circuit around the transistor Q2 in the extreme bottom right is about ?

Just the pedal on/off LED and a preset around there, not an optocoupler LED/VR combination
Unfortunately I don't have it here yet. Probably holds the LED on at switch on for a few seconds, for confirmastion otherwise no function. Then LED only goes on when the compressor is activated via the stomp switch
Well it looks like it latches or helps with latching the LED indicator on or off when the momentary footswitch is pressed.
