I have the Dallas data for the DS1230Y and its coming up to the 10 year from new date for minimum battery life. Is it possible to tell what the internal voltage is, ie if closer to 2 than
3V say. The earlier versions of this kit had standard SRAM and separate lithium cell and standby switch, so could not be easier checking. Nothing in the Dallas data about that. Does one have to wait until the carry over contents are no longer carried over, rather than preventative maintainance.
