Got one of thes long distance problems on one. It is an X-11 Interplay syst em. It is about the same as an X-10 and the standalone LT-640. I replaced t he amp in it, and by that I mean replaced because I did not need a counterf eit STK type IC screwing things up. I rewired it for different ICs. Also fi xed the cassette stuck belts in the TT.
It gets there and the horizontal motor is going too far. the guy tinkers wi th it and it plays but the arm is not plumb. We exchanged pictures, I told him where to look for stuff and all that and now it skates all across the r ecord and he found a piece broken off.
Anyone familiar with these things ?

If anyone has parts for the thing to sell let me know. The arm assembly or a whole TT unit. With the chip, there should be some donors out there somew here.
If not, we might be able to glue the thing but first have to figure out exa ctly where it goes. I don't because I never had that part of it apart. Put the belts on and it worked. Pretty much end of story.
