I don't have the radio at all - just the power supply The power supply is a separate unit, but has a speaker built in and a plug to connect to the audio out of the radio.

The power supply is I think very similar to the one in this ebay offering:

In fact mine is this power supply. The only difference being mine is the

240 Volt version.

It might be in one of he Sams CB manuals, but I don't have the index handy, and I got rid of my set about 25 years ago. I remember seeing the type of supply you are asking about. Most failures were bad capacitors or shorted transistors.

If this is the same radio as the one on Ebay, it's a VHF amateur or commercial FM rig. Unlikely that Sams would have anything on it. Your best bet would be to post your needs on an amateur radio newsgroup such as alt.radio.amateur.

Thanks Michael Mine keeps blowing the low voltage fuse. The SCR must sense a rise in voltage and start conducting. All semiconductors on the board have inhouse numbers is another trouble

He might find some information there, but I think the same supply was used for both CB and commercial radios. I had a friend in the Two way radio business years ago and he worked on CB radios as well. A lot of the parts were common between the lines.
