Does anybody know how to interface (read / write) a SDcard? Cards are cheap and only have 8 contacts, so it must be possible to acces a lot of "ram" with only a few I/O pins..........

Does anybody know how to interface (read / write) a SDcard? Cards are cheap and only have 8 contacts, so it must be possible to acces a lot of "ram" with only a few I/O pins..........
I want to do this to in asm and a pic anyone help :-) or want to work it out together I was looking at a FAT too.
