eldk 2.4.4 kernel build errors for TQM8260

Dec 04, 2003 2 Replies

Hi all,

I am getting compile errors when trying to compile one of the eldk default targets, namely TQM8260_config.

I am building under Redhat 9.0

The error I get is:

ppc_82xx-ld -T arch/ppc/vmlinux.lds -Ttext 0xc0000000 -Bstatic arch/ppc/kernel/head.o init/main.o init/version.o \ --start-group \ arch/ppc/kernel/kernel.o arch/ppc/mm/mm.o arch/ppc/lib/lib.o kernel/kernel.o mm/mm.o fs/fs.o ipc/ipc.o \ drivers/block/block.o drivers/char/char.o drivers/misc/misc.o drivers/net/net.o drivers/media/media.o drivers/pci/driver.o drivers/mtd/mtdlink.o arch/ppc/8260_io/8260_io.o \ net/network.o \ /opt/eldk/ppc_82xx/usr/src/linux-2.4.4/lib/lib.a \ --end-group \ -o vmlinux arch/ppc/kernel/kernel.o: In function `identify_machine': /opt/eldk/ppc_82xx/usr/src/linux-2.4.4/arch/ppc/kernel/setup.c:612: undefined reference to `va_to_pte' /opt/eldk/ppc_82xx/usr/src/linux-2.4.4/arch/ppc/kernel/setup.c:616: undefined reference to `_get_IMMR' make: *** [vmlinux] Error 1

Any ideas?

James

Which version of the ELDK is this? It builds fine here.
