Would anybody have any idea what a small 240volt unit with 'Rendering End Point Indicator' printed on the case is used for.It has a 75 ohm coax cable coming out of the case, 100mm square PCB,Buzzer,Pot (with markings
Google search turned up zap all I know this description is fairly basic but somebody who has heard/seen this unit would have no problems

hard to say.. sounds custom made.. may it was part of a wire locator in a raceway. the 741 is a Op-amp, the 74123 is monostable multivibrator which is good for generating square wave pulses and can be switched.

Did not notice before but there is a model number 2029-0344,so it must be a mass produced 'Thingo'. Picked it up in a farming area (wheat sheep)
