power injector for an RCA omni directional antenna

Dec 27, 2003 2 Replies

I am looking for a power injector for an RCA omni directional antenna. I called RCA and they said they dont sell just the power injector. Does anyone know where I can buy one or how I can make one.

Thanks,

Guy

Likely just an inductor to couple the DC power, and a series capacitor to block the DC from the receiver input.

L and C values depend on frequency (which you didn't provide).

And it needs a wall wart, too. Might be a 9V, maybe less. Current might be a few hundred mA or less.
