Identifying an AKAI amplifier

You've given us absolutely nothing to help you with. How about a description of the unit, a list of knobs on the front panel? Better yet, a picture of the front and back of the unit would be most helpful. Post it to alt.binaries.pictures.radio. Without that, you're asking us to be clairvoyant.

Questions about consumer gear (finished goods) are more apt for a group *specific* to that genre.

As Dave said, something more than a bare-nothing description is required. Uploading a photograph to an image hosting site then posting a link to that would be the *smart* way to approach this.

The front panel is made of aluminium and it has got 8 knobs + two for the microphones.

The first from left is the bass regulation, the second treble, the third volume, then balance, mode (L-Mono R-Mono Stereo L+Rmono) and last the input selector (a knob,of course)

In the lower part there is the on\off switch, headphones 6mm input, speaker selector knob, and 6 switches (filter, loudness, mute, tape) and two 6mm female jacks for microphones)

There isn't a main board inside it because it's made of little PCBs with no indications on them.

The model number label used to stay in the left front, but now there are only the two holes...

So this amplifier hasn't got a name, i don't really know how i can explain it better. Tomorrow i'll take a photo (not now because my mobile phone's camera has a really poor quality especially when the light is really low)

The power transistors inside it are two couples of NPNs and PNPs, with Japanese sigles (2x 2SC1403 and 2x 2SA745) mounted on a really big heatsink, however not visible from outside.

If someone has a link where i can find some Akai old amplifiers' schematics please let me know.
