I hate Boylestad

Hi,

I went through _Introductory Circuit Analysis_ and Boylestad states that dc power sources should only be put in series because there the voltages are additive. He also states that the only exception for putting them in parallel would be to to increase power. After which, he has the student analyse circuit after circuit with dc power sources in parallel.

Can anyone out there suggest a text that makes more sense?

Thanx, Ed
