Heat Sink for "ATV" transistor case / package?

Mar 22, 2008 4 Replies

An ATV package diagram is at http://207.234.249.73/mwd/atv_package.gif

Who makes a heat sink for the "ATV" transistor package or equivalent?

Or is there another package / case style that's equivalent to the ATV?

Thanks.

. This is also close to an "FTR" case, if that helps.

Most likely a spring clip type heat sink. or heatink clamp like shown below (kool clips, thermal clips)

A more apt question would be:

Is there an electrical equivalent to pnxxxxx in a package with better thermal ratings or heat-sinking capability?

What part number are you dealing with?

RL

I would say there's unlikely to be a heatsink for a part like that. It would be better to use a more suitable rated part.
