Nios II -- Why does this error occur ?

Sep 08, 2007 1 Replies

When I Run the NiosII project, there is sometimes this error info. in the console:

nios2-terminal: exiting due to ^D on remote

But Why? it is relative with the pointer ?

Thank you very much!

Hi, this is because your design send a ^D char to the JTAG UART,which is interpreted as 'quit' by nios2-terminal.

You should now find if ^D is expected from you target board or if it erroneous (noise problem ?).

Hope this will hep. Regards.
