Soldering equipment : Sounds fine ?

Jul 01, 2004 0 Replies

Hi

I'm planning on buying some brand new soldering equipment. It will be used for electronics, both thru-all and very fine SMDs ( PQ208 ... )

For the station : A Weller WSD81 station. In addition to that a precision iron Weller WMP ( to plug on the WSD station ). Some supplementary tips, NT1 (.01" .291"L) & LTA (1.6mm).

Also, a Flux pen "No-Clean" from Kester Solder. Some solder for different jobs : 21AWG & 28AWG, both "No-Clean" from Kester Solder as well. Finally a "No-Clean" unsolder braid Gold 0.50" x 10'.

Does it sounds fine ?

Thanks,

Sylvain
