The LBC-586 is a pretty good little system. Not exceptionally small, but the onboard Ethernet and 48 digital I/O comes in pretty handy. Socket for Disk-On-Chip too, and regular PC-104 (just the ISA-based version). I picked one up on eBay for under $50 a while back. Probably grab another one if I could buy separate.
