pin 1 is 5V (red) pin 2 is data minus (white) pin 3 is data plus (green) pin 4 is GND (black)
Unfortunately the mechanical drawings of the socket do not always have a pin 1 mark. If you look into a A socket and the right angle pins point down, pin 1 to 4 are from left to right.
