I gave up trying to figure out Amazon -- one book I had on order was going to be released in December, then January, then Feb, then March. Never had any comments on the page, never received any email saying anything about the date had changed since I had ordered it, just kept sliding it a month at a time. Not sure they ever got it. I also often see books with the dates listed on Amazon that do NOT match the dates in the books by some months - same edition etc, just different months than what the books says.
