Trying to read the value of an input voltage

Hi, I am trying to get the value of an input DC voltage in an MSP430. I a using the ADC C code examples provided by TI but I am not getting th correct reading. Has anybody work with something like this before and ca help?

Possibly ... but more info would help. What are your Vcc and analog reference voltages? What voltage are you trying to measure? Are you using a voltage divider? If so, what values? Are you buffering the input to the ADC (e.g., unity gain opamp)? Are you on a common ground and are ground and Vcc clean (not noisy)? What readings are you expecting and receiving? Are you using the same compiler as in the examples (IAR??) or gcc or ...? Could you provide a pointer to the example code and the relevant snippets of yours?
