Source for 1.5mm Sockets for Rabbitcore 3000/4000 series ?

OK, this is ridiculous. The bunny wants $15 per socket strip and Digikey wants even more. That's a substantial fraction of the cost of the Rabbitcore modules. The 2mm sockets were findable, and BARELY workable with a regular iron, but these 1.5 jobbies don't google at all unless you buy the expensive "Mill-Max" brand.

SOMEBODY has to make dual-row 1.5mm SIP sockets with a surface-mount base for cheap. Somebody ?

What's the point in the modules if you can't find anything to plug 'em into ??? Yea, I suppose mass-producers can just wave- solder them into whatever, but ...

They've got 1.27mm and 2.0mm ... but no 1.5mm

I've already complained to Rabbit. There's no reason to use such an obscure connector, except to rip-off customers for their $15/each items (probably the "mill-max" brand). Anything below 2mm is almost too small to hand-solder as well. If nothing else they ought to arrange the pins in a square to fit a standard PLCC style socket.

Oh well, I've given up. I've got some RC2000s in stock and I'll just add a PIC to the board to do the A/D I need with a serial link back to the bunny.
