ParaFPGA-2007
Parallel Computing with FPGA's
A mini-symposium held in conjunction with the ParCo2007 conference "Parallel Computing"
Juelich, Germany, September 4-7, 2007 URL:
ParaFPGA-2007 is a mini-symposium held in conjunction with the Parallel Computing conference, ParCo2007 to be held in Juelich, Germany, on 4-7 September 2007.
SCOPE
Field programmable logic provides a wealth of opportunities as computing devices, e.g. as signal processor, systolic element, intellectual property block, advanced accelerator board and the like. Due to their versatility, FPGA's are susceptible to several computing paradigms. During the symposium ParaFPGA one of the major paradigms is addressed: "Parallel Computing with FPGA's".
Because of its adaptability as an enabling component in parallel architectures, this symposium addresses all areas of FPGA's in parallel computing, in particular: methodology, performance analysis, architectures, algorithms and applications.
Therefore you are cordially invited to participate and submit your contribution to the ParaFPGA symposium. Topics include, but are not limited to:
- parallel computing techniques with FPGA's
- hardware/software co-design
- programming environments for FPGA's
- parallel languages and design tools for FPGA application development
- interconnection networks
- FPGA arithmetic
- Multi-FPGA cores
- performance evaluation
- embedded FPGA platforms
- FPGA-based parallel applications
PAPERS
Authors are invited to submit a full paper (max. 8 pages) or an extended abstract (min. 2000 words) using the ParaFPGA server. Details regarding the format are given on the submission page.
Deadline for the paper submission is 15 May 2007
