Is there anyone here who knows how to get TI Code Composer Studio to start a new project in Supervisor mode? The default is User mode which is great for linux but useless for anything else.

What operating system and what do you mean by "supervisor mode"? Are you trying to start Studio as an administrator/superuser or are you trying to compile a project into kernel code for some chip?

To do that, I had to modify the C startup code and recompile the=20 standard library. Alternatively, you can redefine the program entry=20 point, but the =D0=A1ode =D0=A1omposer will issue a warning in this case.=
Anyway the stacks for the different modes have to be appropriately=20 defined and initialized.
All of that turned out to be not that difficult as it could sound like.
