Need Help: Project with a Samsung S3C2510A

Hi, I'm working on project where I need to develop a USB driver for an embedded system. This device use a Samsung S3C2510A as processor. This processor is based on a 16/32-bit ARM940T RISC Embedded architecture. This system should eventually have linux as OS. My driver must be delivered by the end of the summer (because I'm an intern) but the card won't be ready till then. Because an ARM and a x86 have both different architecture I want to know if it exists some kind of emulator or simulator under Linux which give me a chance to test my driver once it will be done.

If you have any other suggestion or solution to my problem please feel free to let me know.

Thank you very much!!! PR

Yes, here's a solution: Tell the company for which you are interning this summer to assign you a project that you can actually complete in 2 months time instead of handing you this ridiculous schedule.

Methinks that if they can't assign you a new project, you should spend your summer architecting the design for this USB driver including documeting all of the requirements, writing a detailed design and theory of operations, coming up with a schedule for the development and testing of the driver. Then, if any time is left you can actually start coding your driver.

That way, when you are back in school and the actual, debugged hardware is finally delivered in October, some other engineer can pick up where you left off and continue on with the good work that you started.
