The presence of this ad, repeated about monthly for the past year or so, points out the foolishness of objections to useful announcements such as those of Don McKenzie. Nobody has seen fit to protest this one, and I do not intend to begin. However this one does begin to push my boundaries.

If you want him to stop, send the whole message with full headers requesting they take "apropriate action" concerning his commercial post in discussion newsgroups to: snipped-for-privacy@google.com, snipped-for-privacy@excite.com, and (the posting IP address) snipped-for-privacy@velocet.net. He should get the message one way or another.
