Fastest Processor Under 1W?

What is included in "the CPU portion". Does that mean just the CPU or

does it included all of the CPU support like memory, clocking, etc?

The Atmel AT91SAM9G20 consumes 80mW at 400 MHz. That leaves you some

power budget for your memory, etc.

The Intel Atom Z500 at 800 MHz has a TDP of 0.65W, but by the time you

add the necessary support chips, it will be significantly over 1W.

1W=500ma * 2v 500ma / 1000000 processors = 500na per processor

but nano power pic means 20na, 40nw for deep sleep

+-50na I/O pin leakage current

lowest listed nanopower pic running I could find is

110uA current @ 2V and 1MIP

formatting link

1mip/110uA * 2v = 1mip/220uW per pic 1W/220uW per pic = 4545 pic/W = 4545 mip/W

=/= 1000000 pic/W

68 rows and 67 columns would be 4556 chips

parallel Forth processors @ 1.8V

700mip/7mw per core = 100mip/mw = 1mip/10uW

packaged with 4/24/32/40/48/144 core per chip

1 GA4 = 2800mip/28mw 8pin 1 S40 = 28000mip/280mw 88pin 1 144 = 100800mip/1W 88pin

Best Wishes
