Dot printer in RTOS

Feb 19, 2004 1 Replies

Hi all...

I have an application that runs on a PC104 in a RTOS enviroment ( On-time RTOS-32). Now i need to control a dot printer (EPSON LQ300+); to make it i need to write a low level driver to manage LPT port signals. I have no experience in it... ....please help me....

Thank's in advance

Massimo

There is a printer manual explaining all the codes to be sent to the printer. If you don't have it, get it from the manufacturer. Then just implement them. It boils down to writing some data to some peripheral port.
