Internet mobile phone data prepaid in Sweden

Hello, I'm sorry to write in English, but unfortunatelly I can't speak Swedish :(

I'll travel to Sweden in a few days and I'd like to have acces to Internet. I can use mobile phone GPRS / G3 data connection but roaming is pretty expensive.

Is there a prepaid card I could buy in Sweden and place in my cell-phone and cost will be charged according to amount of data send / received? I tried to search Swedish internet sites, but due to language problems I didn't find anything.

Thanks for Help in advance Zet

  • GPRS Works with some operators I know, if it works with all I don't know. * 3G is available from

Beware of tre.se ,they have a lot of shoody business practices.

GPRS will charge you "per byte". However if you have a large file to transfer it's more economic to use HCSD (GSM).

Prepaid cards are available, but if it works with HCSD is unclear..

Many swedes won't either. Best is to bug their helpdesk :) Many telco webpages are useless.

Maybe I'm harshly honest, but if the companies in question disagree they might actually start discuss it :-)
