Google suggests it's a triac ( you didn't try very hard ) . Sounds quite possible given the opto-isolation. http://www.ortodoxism.ro/datasheets/SGSThomsonMicroelectronics/mXuqtvx.pdf

The c812 is short for 2SC812 which is an NPN 20V 100Ma transistor.
