What semiconductor is this?

Have a on-board power transistor shaped 3 lead semiconductor that I cannot find via Google. This unit is on the output of a circuit that drives high power relays, and is driven from a microprocessor thru a opto-isolator.

Google suggests it's a triac ( you didn't try very hard ) . Sounds quite possible given the opto-isolation. http://www.ortodoxism.ro/datasheets/SGSThomsonMicroelectronics/mXuqtvx.pdf

The c812 is short for 2SC812 which is an NPN 20V 100Ma transistor.
