What is Continuous Audio?

In this spec sheet:

, I dont get the 15W of Continuous Audio. Does it mean the power to have continuous audio is 15W?

Thanks.

It means you can run 15W of audio into it continuously (when part of a circuit, obviously). That 15W should be RMS, I expect

Some of the audio will get absorbed by the device, the rest will go to the speaker.

It means the rheostat can dissapate 15 watts. You can get into an argument about whether this is RMS volts across a pure resistance, or average power, or 'music power' or 'peak power' or several other confusing ways of making an amplifier have more power.

Thanks...

Another unrelated question to this one, so in the same spec, Insulation Resistance means the resistance of the insulation?

It does indeed.
