Transformer input wiring fot 120/230VAC

I have a two coil Transformer on for input, one for output and I am unsure about the 120/230 connections. It's a JAMECO 101864 Transformer, Input Voltage 115/230VAC, 50-60Hz Out

24V/3A I am not sure how to hook up to run on 115V. Just to know, I would like to understand the 230VAC connections, too. The mfr diagram looks like this: The O was a black dot. I see we are using proportional fonts and my diagram is not..

I had it hooked to a 24V WallWart at 1 & 2 (Input was metered @ 27.9V). Between 6 & 10 had 6.76VAC, 6 & 8 was 3.35, as was 8 & 10 I understand about the center tap, It's just the 115/230 hookups that have me baffled. Thanks in advance for any help; Don

For 115, connect 1 to 4, connect 2 to 5, connect AC to 1(4) and to 2(5).

Test on your AC 24V WallWart but this should be correct.

For 120V in, connect pins 1 and 4 together, pins 2 and 5 together, and then connect the mains across pins 1 and 2 or across pins 4 and 5. For 240V in, connect pins 2 and 4 together and then connect the mains across pins 1 and 5.

Thanks John, this dummy appreciates all the help!

your diagram is perfect.
