question using the op482?

Hi, i have a square signal, with positive at 15V, and negative with

-15V, and i will like to convert this signal so that 15V will be 15V, and the -15V will be 0V, to do this i use an op482 as comparator, the configuration is this, +IN = -5V, -IN = Square wave, V+ = 15V, V- = 0V, but in the output i get a signal with a high value of 1.3, and a low value of 0.3, some suggestion to obtain the signal that i want?. Thanks in advance.

It appears from a quick look at the datasheet that this part is intended to operate from +/-15V supplies, and the inputs should not go within 4 volts of the negative supply - in other words, you can't use it the way you want.

In any case, few, if any, op-amps or comparators will tolerate the inputs going outside the supply voltages, so you won't be able to put

+IN to -5 if the negative supply is 0V, regardless of the part you choose.
