i want to ask from the group how to make a bipolar capacitor out of two polarized electrolytic caps. For example, I need 10uf bipolar cap but i don't have it at hand. Instead I do have 2 10uf polarized capacitors. My question is, can i combine these two capacitors in series to form a bipolar cap with same uf? If I can, how's the connection?

U need 2 x 22 uF electro caps, wired in series, negative wires linked.
The voltage of *each* cap must be sufficient for the max applied voltage.

Oh ? why not the two positive terminals? but I don't think that is right, what I have seen as supposedly working is two caps in parallel with diodes either feeding the + or draining the - . how this is supposed to allow the caps to discharge beats me, however.
