I have a schemetic which says for a bypass capacitor "do not load" or "not to be installed". Doe anybody know the meaning of this phrase ?

Thanks John. It seems reasonable now that you say but "do not load" just seemed to be a warning to me, but I may be wrong on this.
I suspect that after the schematic was drawn, the capacitor was deemed to be unnecessary (at least in certain circumstances). In other words, it was decided that it wasn't cost effective to use it.
