DC 15 volt adapter question

HI, I don't have any clue about electricity, I would like to ask a question regarding DC adapters. How can I create 15 volt DC out of 2 adapters? Can i just join the wire together, one adapter is set so 12 Volt and the other is set to 3 Volt? Will those create 15 Volt together in 1 joined wire? Or any suggestion on how?

thanks so much, I really appreciate in.

It's possible, but if you have to ask this question, you are much better advised to find a 15-volt adapter. DC voltages in series add, but the devil is in the details. Current ratings, regulation and polarity would determine whether you got success or smoke.
