The Sinadder is used for measuring the SINAD of a receiver.

Now sold by Zetron.

See

formatting link

SINAD = 20log ((Signal + Noise + Distortion) / (Noise + Distortion)) assuming voltages in each case.

Used as a reference audio output (usually 12dB SINAD) in receiver sensitivity tests.

Availability: Loads of SINAD meters secondhand. Also included in most combination test sets.

Then there's duct tape ... (Garrison Keillor)
