The only downside is that there is no replacement market, unless the product is so small that people can easily lose it. Or perhaps it could be bio-degradable. Patent pending. (;-)

Don't forget development systems. I'm a sucker for cheap, neat, development kits for new products. I've got a whole stack of'em that I plan to get a round to one day RSN. I buy'em but I never seem to actually USE them.
