I read in sci.electronics.design that James Meyer wrote (in ) about 'z8 encore', on Sun, 19 Dec 2004:

- legitimate advertising claim 'our products never wear out'.
The only downside is that there is no replacement market, unless the product is so small that people can easily lose it. Or perhaps it could be bio-degradable. Patent pending. (;-)

Don't forget development systems. I'm a sucker for cheap, neat, development kits for new products. I've got a whole stack of'em that I plan to get a round to one day RSN. I buy'em but I never seem to actually USE them.
