JMF got all his credit cards zapped by leaning against a disk drive one day. (This was in the days when disk drives looked like washing machines.)

I wouldn't pay too much attention to it. It was basically a high-school science project that Intel pulled out as an entertainment diversion, due to a lack of real news at its developer's forum this year. It spent a lot of time talking about robots and stuff this year. It's all for entertainment.
