Volta / Greenlots Charging App

1 or 2 miles usually. 3 top. Greenlots are not free, but sometimes the only game in remote area. San Fran is perfect during the pandemic, but i wouldn't want to live here otherwise. Volta HQ is close to my temp. apt. and Foodsco; so, i top off my e-tank on the way. I also fill-up before and after business hours, at the employee lot. They usually have 8 empty employee spaces and 4 full public spaces. I can find things to do during charging, like writing this memo, remodeling the Leaf, or taking a nap. I have a skinless (no case) K6 (i5 soon for VT/VM) in the Leaf, disguising enough to be stolen. The K6/i5 will be running off the 400V aux. battery. Burgers beware: don't touch the orange wire. Or don't touch anything at all.

A couple of people on my block run extension cords from their garages across the sidewalk to their parked cars. Makes walking at night interesting.

It's a Windoz bug. In Linux, Android Emulator works better than a real pho ne, with a real keyboard. The only problem is that there is no real gps. I have to read from usb gps or scan from local wifi signals and push it int o the emulator. Since i am only interested in a few fixed locations, wifi mapping should not be too difficult. I will work on the codes while chargi ng the Leaf.

I am running Linux from an external usb drive. The only reason i am keepin g Window 10 in this laptop is for youtube movies. For some reason, free wi th ads youtube does not work under Linux.

Android installation in Linux was not as smooth. It should have warned me that i was not root. I did not sudo the first time; so some files were not setup property. Eventually, i will reinstall native linux and run windoz in VirtualBox.
