find me an add-on that performs complex number calculations for Excel. addition, subtraction, multiplicatiion, division.

Complex number functions are built into Excel. Search Excel for COMPLEX, IMDIV, IMSUM, IMDIV, etc.

This is a very simple worksheet.
It is an interactive version of my PDF, which I posted some 7 years ago or more. It actually shows the value and how the resistor should appear. It requires some common sense as well. One cannot set an E24 value and set the tolerance to 1% and expect valid determinations. There are only two significant digits in an E24 value scale. So some knowledge is required.
Sad thing is that through hole technology is all but dead in mainstream electronics.
One would have to go work for a toy maker of such to get back to single and dual layer thru hole cheapy manufacturing paradigms. They are still out there though.
Ceratain places where it is enough but still gets poorly designed.
I have an LED rear light / padded seat combo for my bike made by Bell.
They do stuff pretty well, so I was dismayed to see this seat lamp be so cheap, and break so easily (not from my ass).
For what I paid for the seat, they should have to give me one of the new design, after I get them to re-design the CRAP they currently sell.
Mostly mechanical, but they do also have an electrical problem.
