Since you put us on to them, we usually use the Murata 1-W and 2-W ones, e. g. NXE2S0505MC-R7, 2W, $4.50 in onesies, or the NXJ1S0505MC-R7, $3.83, both fully isolated, both plentifully in stock at DK.

Are the TI ones better?

I like them because they are smaller, both board footprint and height. We are doing some insanely dense little boards lately, spaced very close together.

This one is very well regulated, for what that's worth.

People are starting to make things like multichannel ADCs with built-in power isolation now too.

I thought the x-rays were cool. There are actually two ICs in there!

I'll measure isolation capacitance, TI and Murata.

But I still love the Murata!
