Is this a 51/52 derivative product? I'm looking for a flash/sm replacement, but don't know the family...
The data sheet for the TMP87PH46N shows a pinout that is not compatible with any '51 derivative I have ever seen.
Drop in replacement? I don't think so. The TMP87 is a 42 pin part !!
Functional replacement ? Maybe, But the peripherals may not be standard '51.

Clarification, NOT a drop in replacement per se, functional near equivalent is ok as it's a PCB redesign- conventional to S.mount. 40 pins is enough, as is port remapping, but a total re-write is out of the question, hence is it
51 software compatible? It seems to be a cross between 51 and 8085/Z80.
I did not find any spec sheets on the instruction set or peripherals.
With such a strange internal architecture, I would guess that only Toshiba would have any kind of replacement.
Just for fun, do you have any links to the internals ??
