Thermistor pressure sensor

Hey, I made a transcutaneous blood glucose analyzer out of an RC airplane servomotor. Not just consumer items, _toy_parts_!

Hot wire anemometry works great if you control for the heat capacity of the ambient air. It's not quite as pretty as acoustic anemometry, but it beats cupped wheels.

And, it was a profitable project for Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard, who based their flagship product on a light bulb's thermal response.

That's more than a little cheesy. Their "thermal response" had nothing to do with the external conditions of the bulb.
