Sort OT: Consumer electronics audio amplifiers

I want to buy an i*** docking station with a radio etc., but there are virtually none that offer headphone jacks (Boston Acoustics is an exception, but their product can't dock with the ipad).

What are the chances that one such as this:

.. will have amplifiers that can be directly wired up to a 3.5mm headphone jack.. and not some kind of bridging configuration without a common ground ??

.. or can I likely just capactively couple the headphones to half the amplifier pair as suggested for the LM4865?

thats the usual way to do headphones on a bridged amp. Switching the speakers is a bit more work of course.
