Solder paste -- better late than never

May 20, 2014 1 Replies

After more years than I would to admit.

I discovered that solder paste that is used for copper tubing, works great for cleaning and making wire joints much easier to solder.

I use to hate aluminum wires.

But they break much less than copper wires.

Much less swearing. :-)

Hmm well it works, but if you don't clean it all off, then in a little while the acid flux attacks the copper and makes it look like cr@p.
