Small IC power amplifier challenge

Do you know a better, cheaper smaller LM386-like IC power amplifier bugger than these?:

Preferably:

  • Less than e.g. 10 legs
  • Might be heat sinkable
  • Thermal protection
  • Short-circuit proof
  • Missing Current Limiter (MCL) ? No switch-on and off clicks "depops"
  • Low quiescent power consumption e.g. 4mA
  • Bridged output so big output capacitors are not needed
  • Wide power supply voltage e.g 2-18V
  • Widely available (for many years?)
  • DIL - or no closer legs than SOIC.

My best guesses for now:

TDA7056AT 5W 9mA, 4.5-18V

TDA7052AT 1W 7mA, 4.5-18V

TDA8541 1W 9mA, 2.2-18V

Old one LM386 0,5W 4mA, 4-12V or 5-18V(-4)
