Do you know a better, cheaper smaller LM386-like IC power amplifier bugger than these?:
Preferably:
- Less than e.g. 10 legs
- Might be heat sinkable
- Thermal protection
- Short-circuit proof
- Missing Current Limiter (MCL) ? No switch-on and off clicks "depops"
- Low quiescent power consumption e.g. 4mA
- Bridged output so big output capacitors are not needed
- Wide power supply voltage e.g 2-18V
- Widely available (for many years?)
- DIL - or no closer legs than SOIC.
My best guesses for now:
TDA7056AT 5W 9mA, 4.5-18V

TDA7052AT 1W 7mA, 4.5-18V

TDA8541 1W 9mA, 2.2-18V

Old one LM386 0,5W 4mA, 4-12V or 5-18V(-4)
