Could some electronics guru please help ? Standard PIR modules (e.g., BS1600 or BS1700) are somewhat expensive for what they do. Could someone please direct me to a circuit diagram for any of these modules. Thanks in advance for your help.
They're usually wired straight to a small JFET with a 1-meg resistor on the gate. The source of the JFET is AC-coupled into a comparator, or whatever was cheapest on that particular day.
