PCB design software assistance

Jim gets out all week to teach at the local community college where there are five HUNDRED some computers, most with CDROM burners and available USB ports.

If your local library is so wimpy, you've got elected representatives to bitch to that can at least get you ONE machine is the building dedicated to file download.

Great advise. The local library's computers have all the I/O ports except the network card disabled, and only a couple of the older ones were built with floppy drives. The ones at the new library don't have any way to save files except to print them out. They charge 20 cents per page to print out e-mail or other documents.

Hmm... you'd think the libraries would be concerned about the "dangerous ideas" one might get from reading a book about... revolutions... capitalism... communism... bomb building... anarchism... etc...

P.S. -- I've tried to e-mail you a couple of times now about donating PCs to your cause but never did hear back.

Its a liability issue. They don't want to be blamed or sued over the way the free computers are used.

You should know politicians better than that. :(
