Yikes! 105, here, is no big deal (as it's dry so getting out of the direct sun gives immediate relief).
I dread thinking about what it would be like north and east in such temperatures! <frown>
But, you can count the days to WINTER if that's any consolation... <grin>
Here in Vancouver, Canada it is around 21C or 70F. Sunny too...nice weather to work on my motorcycles...

We rarely see a (daytime as) low as 70 in *winter*! Yet, I see people wearing gloves and coats! <rolls eyes> Even 80 or 90 feels "a bit cool" when the sun is down and the air is dry.
Once the sun goes into hiding, you can do damn near anything outdoors (though washing the car is difficult as the low RH causes it to dry as soon as you turn the hose off -- spotting windows). This evidenced by the number of people out-and-about with their dogs, visiting neighbors, etc.
OTOH, you can't walk barefoot after about March as the temperature of the asphalt and concrete easily exceeds 140-160F. Nobody sane has grass for a lawn! (Homeless people are often admitted to hospital with second degree burns from lying on these surfaces)
I was only in Vancouver once (decades ago) and remember it as "wet" (even if not raining).
We're having a terrible heat wave too. It's 66F at 2PM.
I just ran up to Safeway, and survived it in just jeans and a tee shirt. The parking lot of the Diamond Heights Safeway is certified as the coldest place on Earth.

The good weather will probably continue until the NWS fixes their forecast server at:
"Throughout the year, the average humidity in Vancouver is 70%."
Makes you feel colder in the winter and hotter in the summer.
By contrast, we're at 38% with daily lows in the 10% range. In summer, the THI is often LOWER than the air temperature!
[I hauled 20T of soil in to the back yard on a day when the air temperature was 115F. I drank GALLONS of water. (you need about a pint every 20 minutes to balance what you lose through perspiration). Yet, never broke into a sweat (OR PISSED!) You don't get that "sticky" feeling that is common, elsewhere, so you don't feel as hot/uncomfortable. When you get out of a (outdoor) swimming pool, "steam" rises from your body and you feel *cold* from the evaporation. Potato chips and popcorn stay crisp overnight, uncovered. Ice tea doesn't "sweat". You never have to dry your hair after a shower, etc.]
The server came back at about 5pm. It's now safe to predict the future.
I often refer to Vancouver as being on the We(s)t Coast of Canada...rain forest - much like Seattle.

It was such a long time ago; I had to make a presentation to some gummit folks.
I remember
- "weird colored money",
- getting lectured by a cab driver that "most americans know nothing about Canada -- and, to his chagrin, naming the 10 provinces and 2 territories (at that time); "So, can you name 12 US states?" (50 would be unfair; knowing about commonwealths or territories would likely strain most "americans")
- being told I *had* to wear a seatbelt (and protesting that loudly as my host's "imposition" seemed overly paternalistic; I failed to recollect that I was no longer *in* the US!)
- and the fact that everything felt "damp", including the fresh towels at the hotel.
