OT: Drag-and-Drop Watermark?

Just thought I'd ask here..... Anyone know a program for photo (JPG) watermarking that is dirt-simple and fast to operate? All we need is one line of text on a batch of photos (10-

12) and we might process a dozen batches a day. Ideally, we'd like to re-s ize at the same time.

We currently use PhotoShop Elements, which works fine of course, but it's o verkill for this operation. Just wondering if there's something faster.

Ideally, I'm thinking a program where you would enter the watermark text so mewhere and then every file you dragged into the container would get waterm arked, re-sized, and saved to a destination. Probably easy to code, but w e just don't have the time for that... Thanks everyone.

This can be done with imagemagick in Linux from a script, add text, rotate, rescale all in one line. program names that come to mind are 'convert', 'mogrify', etc. man ImageMagick should be on your box.

Xnview does this. It's free. It has a batch mode. See

for tutorial. You can add text and/or image.
