Around here (near Buffalo NY.) the skies have been remarkably clear and blue. I can't help but think it's the fewer planes and cars driving around. (Or at least related.. some effect.) (how much of cloud formation is from man-made particulates?) Clear skies give warm days and cool nights. Which has made for a wonderful spring. Is this just local or are others noticing the clear skies?
Yes, San Francisco has been wonderful too, fresh and breezy and clear. That may be a combination of fewer cars and planes, and the weather. We've had some bursts of fog, but nice clean friendly fog.
We are a bit north of the airport, and usually see lots of planes, but they are rare lately. Traffic on the freeway is getting back to normal-terrible, so I'll have to go back to using goofy paths on neighborhood streets. That will double my commute time, but is more interesting driving so it's OK.
Seems like a lot of boids choiping too.
SF had been getting insanely dense and un-affordable. If more people work from home in the future, things may calm down. I expect some real-estate types may take a hit here. Like WeWork, and some big office and apartment developments, and gyms and such.

Yes, you're not imagining it. Normally nowadays the skies on clear days are a kind of milky blue colour, but for the last couple of months the milk's been clearing. I haven't seen the sky like this since the late 1960s. It's true, the skies really were bluer back then.
There's a meme that one of my daughters sent me, to the effect that
"With 2020 going as it's been, has anybody checked that there are still dolphins in the ocean?"

The sky here is hazy and yellow from volcanic Sulphur. Mauna Kea is 100 miles away from by electronics. No changes from any virus, except y'all cannot visit here in Maui. Outsiders are driven out.
Nice try. I'm from Vancouver, and we tried for years to keep people away by complaining about the rain. ;)
