Contact the publishers themselves, and they will recommend to you where the best place to donate such archives is. Many have them all digitized already, so it is a matter of finding the right library or historical society that is interested in them.

Libraries sometimes have magazine archives and if yours does, it may take them.

The bandwidth remark was a stupid, wisecrack remark in and of itself.

If you are still using a telephone modem, you have bandwidth issues, otherwise, you are indicating to us that you really don't know what bandwidth is. In other words, f*ck off with that dumb s*it. Wise up and go mouth off somewhere else. You are worse than a modern day democrat.

Why not put a zip file somewhere and see who loves that?

I have heard from one of the publishers and they are intested for their archives. If anyone can recommend any archiving organizations, I can contact them also.

I am in the same situation, but with some 500 SF books I doubt I will ever read again.

I already have about twice that count and i cannot think of any that i haen't read at least twice. Would you be interested in comparing titles?

The Feb '98 issue of IEEE Spectrum has a nice piece by Shannon referenced in it. Nice to see where we are today with interconnect speeds and ESD abatement too.
